The CarPC project is built into my 89' Dodge Daytona (sold in
Switzerland as Chrysler GS Turbo 2) with other additional functionalities the
following features are integrated:
- Forward ultrasonic sensors for distance warning (parking only)
- Becker Navi Pro, Car radio and navigation system with CD-changer
- Forward camera for Night vision functionality (testing only)
- 7" motorized in-dash flip-up touch screen for visualization of PC and video data
- 8" TFT LCD sun visor monitor for visualization of PC and video data
- Controller board for accessing CarPC data (Speed, Temperatures etc.)
- DCF synchronized time and date
- Head-up display for speed
- CarPC features:
- Audio playback (CD, MP3 etc.)
- Video playback (HD, DVD)
- Rear Cam View with recording
- Display and record of car specific data's and its position
- Navigation
- WLAN and Bluetooth connection to the outside
- Rearview Camera (WebCam)
- Parrot Bluetooth hand free kit
